UMAAG launches the first in a series of open discussions

UMAAG is launching a regular series of discussions named “Open Horizons”.

It is intended that “Open Horizons” will cover a wide variety of issues, from different disciplines. Speakers will be drawn both from the over 3,000 Un. of Manchester graduates in Greece, and from outside our members when this is more appropriate for a particular topic.

The philosophy of “Open Horizons” is to create a space and potential for free discussion and exchange of opinions. Although highly experienced speakers will be asked to participate, the emphasis is on discussion.

Issues of interest to all our members, of different educational backgrounds, will gradually be discussed. To launch this series we are starting with an issue of interest to everyone - "Dialog on higher education in Greece". Check the relevant news post.
